Mini-Conference 2 was held on 8th January 2018 as a part of the Convergence conference.
The conference was about Career Preparation and Career Planning. The speakers for the conference were Ms. Tan Wai Fun, founder of Adge Pte Ltd and Ms. Joey Kang, manager of Student Careers at JCU Singapore and a certified career coach.
They spoke about the correct way to decide career paths in a systematic manner. Writing a curriculum vitae and the way you present yourself at an interview is an essential part of job hunting, the do’s and don’t’s were also discussed elaborately in order to give us an understanding of the professional world after graduation.
